CAREER

Pilates Instructor since Jul 2016:

​​

Since 2015 I have been working as a Mat Pilates  instructor as my main career.

​

Child-Care 2009 - 2016

​

After traveling for 1 year, I decided to change career path from the corporate world to work with children.

 

I did a Fetac 5 course with FAS and got a job in the loveliest creche in Swords. I absolutely loved minding the kids and  working with my colleagues. I thought of them more like a family.

​

I used to keep myself fit with:

  Yoga & Anti-Gravity Yoga,

Pole Dancing & Aerial Hoop, 

be part of the Westwood swimming Club,

do a bit of running,

skipping rope

 

Even with all the above my core muscles were  not as strong as I needed them to be. Therefore I kept getting back injuries. I had severe pain for long periods of time until I discovered Pilates.

Corporate Jobs - More than 20 years

​

I completed a 3 years course in Business Administration in Brazil and had work placement in large companies such as PETROBRAS  - Braziliam Petroleum.

​​

After working in Itautec Informatica (computer/software manufacter) in Paulista Avenue (one of the most important locations in Brazil, where the headquarters of many financial big companies are) I decided to take a 3 years course in Information Technology.

​

During the Faculty course in IT I decided to take some private English lessons with the teacher.

 

In 1997 I finished my 3 years IT course, left my job in Itautec and came to live in Ireland.

​

In Ireland I worked for the head office of Park Rite (Irish Life), Hertz-Rent-a-Car, Lufthansa and other office jobs.
